8th October 2011, Mumbai
The Elephanta caves have been declared world heritage in 1987 UNESCO  and it is maintained by archaeological survey of India.
It is a best place for one spend a leisure time with friends or for school picnics as well as for people deeply love with history.
My last visit was with my four friends and had very great time we enjoyed it too the core.

One can get there through jetty boat service provided from Apollo bunder (Gateway of India) till the island where these ancient caves are situated (approx 1 hour).
Besides it only takes 6 hours to visit complete island including travelling time.
The boat service is till 5:30 in evening only. Along with caves we can visit the cannon hill which have 2 huge cannons of 10 meters each  and an stupendous view of port.
The caves have good old sculptures regarding it please check my photo albums and also stay cautious from monkeys. There is an museum with photos of other caves through out the state of Maharashtra. There is an old chattrapati Shivaji maharaj temple where only locals can make you reach very few people know regarding it. Food is not as good as compared too Mumbai but fairly high rated but with local taste in food. I strongly suggest not to buy anything as souvenir from there. Accommodation is provide by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation(MTDC) and also a small toy train to come on land from water.

Love and Friendship a poem by Emily Bronte

Love is like the wild rose-briar,
Friendship like the holly-tree—
The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms
But which will bloom most constantly?

The wild-rose briar is sweet in the spring,
Its summer blossoms scent the air;
Yet wait till winter comes again
And who will call the wild-briar fair?

Then scorn the silly rose-wreath now
And deck thee with the holly's sheen,
That when December blights thy brow
He may still leave thy garland green.

My Way Of Life

Its like very uncomfortable when people ask, what have you done in your life or say whats your aims and goals in life? Agreed there must be aims and goals in your life but why we don't take life as a challenge where just accept what's in your faith rather then being behind what you never gone get it. I am not against the theory of goals and aims I just want to say that if you don't like to do something than please discard it from your life, rather than running behind unwanted things keep your ambitions for the things you like, things you admire the most, things which are attractive to you. Life is full of opportunities and we must utilize it. Its better to do what you wish instead of you being driven by the world around you. As rightly said by Joan Baez, "You don't get to choose how you are going to die or when. You can only decide how you're going to live." So live your life the way you want and not like others wished to. People say its easy to say but not to apply, I know but who's life was so easy Albert Einstein failed in french , MrDisney was thrown out of drawing class etc. many more examples but still these people are successful. Mr. Sydney Harris said, "When I hear somebody sigh, "Life is hard," I am always tempted to ask, "Compared to what?" And after all, your life is in your hands and what ever you do, you will get back your fruits. That is what i have learned from my experiences, just wanted to share. Thank You.
